Osasuna head coach Vicente Moreno spoke to the media at El Sadar following his team's 1-0 win over Sevilla FC.

"I'm very happy for many reasons. The players were rewarded for their effort, and the 20,000 fans at El Sadar deserved it," Moreno said. "We weren't as sharp as we would have liked — we were a bit imprecise — but it was clear this team is committed and wanted to win."

Moreno also highlighted the importance of reaching 44 points in the standings.

"Now we can forget about the bottom spots. We're entering the final stretch of 15 points where everything is decided, and we'll see how far we can go," he said. "It's good for everyone to be excited, but we also need to stay grounded and appreciate the fact that we've secured another year in the top flight — that was our goal."

After Osasuna gained a numerical advantage on the field, Moreno said the team focused on scoring a second goal to close out the match.

"Obviously, we had to be careful not to give them chances, especially on set pieces — though that's not always avoidable," he said. "We weren't able to finish the game off, but I'll take the positives: it's important to keep a clean sheet."

"We won thanks to that and Rubén's free-kick goal, so it was important," Moreno added. "Still, avoiding those nervy moments came down to scoring the second goal — unfortunately, we didn't."
