After six and a half seasons, Club Atlético Osasuna and defender Nacho Vidal have mutually agreed to part ways, the club announced today. Vidal defended the Rojillo jersey in 184 official matches. The Alicante native will bid farewell to the club today at a press conference at 1:30 p.m. at El Sadar.  

Vidal, 29, joined Osasuna in the summer of 2018 after being a stand-out player at Valencia’s affiliate, Mestalla. In his first season with the club, he played 38 games and became a crucial squad member who won the Segunda División and was promoted to the top tier. For the next four seasons, the Navarrese side remained in Primera División without any problems, earning second place in the Copa del Rey and a place in a European competition. He spent the second half of last season on loan with Mallorca, and during the present season, he has played in nine games as a Rojillo, with the Copa del Rey win against Athletic Club at San Mamés being the last game.

Nacho Vidal is part of a group of players who have contributed significantly to Club Atlético Osasuna's growth over the last years. The entity wants to thank him for his professionalism and behavior, which have been exemplary during his cycle as a Rojillo and wishes him the best of luck in his future professional challenges.
