Club Atlético Osasuna (6-8-6, 26 points) and Rayo Vallecano (6-8-6, 26 points) played a 1-1 draw at El Sadar on Sunday afternoon. Los Rojillos began the game thrilling 1-0 after forward Sergio Camello scored for the visitors, but their resilience paid off as forward Raúl García scored the equalizer at the hour mark.

Osasuna began the game by taking charge and creating chances; by the fifth minute, the team was building a play as defender Abdul Munin knocked defender Alejandro Catena inside the box, but the referee did not consider it dangerous enough to point to the spot or review it. Following the start, Rayo Vallecano reacted and scored the opener after Camello defeated goalkeeper Sergio Herrera in a one-on-one. Through the rest of the half, the Vallecas side stopped Osasuna, who tried to create chances on the flanks and with crosses.

Head coach Vicente Moreno made quick changes, and by the start of the second half, García and defender Abel Bretones were on the field. Midfielder Jon Moncayola had the first chance with a powerful shot from outside the box, but goalkeeper Augusto Batalla stopped it. A few minutes later, García headed a cross from midfielder Rubén García and placed the ball past Batalla. With the equalizer, Los Rojillos continued to push forward, but the visitors did not step back and had their chances through midfielder Isi Palazón and Camello. Osasuna kept the possession as the game ended and sought to score the winner with crosses, but Rayo Vallecano kept them away.

Osasuna will return to action on Friday, January 24, to face UD Las Palmas at Gran Canaria Stadium in Week 21 of LaLiga EA Sports. Kickoff is set for 9 p.m. CET (8 p.m. GMT/3 p.m. ET).
