Osasuna returns to Tajonar after yesterday’s win at San Mamés
Los Rojillos were divided into two groups according to the minutes played yesterday.
This morning, Club Atlético Osasuna trained at the Tajonar Sports Complex after defeating Athletic Club 3-2 at San Mamés and qualifying for the Copa del Rey quarterfinals. As is common after a match, the team was divided into two groups: those who played the most minutes did regenerative work, while the rest did compensatory work. Osasuna Promesas forward Carlos Lumbreras returned to training with the first team after receiving his first call-up with the senior squad.
Defender Rubén Peña and forward Jose Arnaiz did not train due to the fever that kept them from being available to play in Bilbao. Also, forward Bryan Zaragoza continues with his recovery work. Last night and this morning, goalkeeper Sergio Herrera underwent testing at Clínica Universidad de Navarra and worked with the rest of the team in the regenerative session.
Los Rojillos will train at El Sadar in their last session tomorrow before facing Rayo Vallecano on Sunday, January 19. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. CET (5:30 p.m. GMT/12:30 p.m. ET). Following the training session, head coach Vicente Moreno will address the media.
