Today, Club Atlético Osasuna will meet its Copa del Rey round of 16 opponent during the draw that will take place at the Royal Spanish Football Federation at 1 p.m. CET. Los Rojillos earned their spot in the draw after defeating Club Deportivo Tenerife on the road 2-1.

Osasuna’s round-of-16 opponents can be any of 15 qualified teams. The first teams to be matched will be the lower-division teams (Pontevedra, Ourense, Elche, and Almería) against any LaLiga EA Sports qualified teams. These teams will have a home-field advantage. Then, the eight other Primera División teams will be matched against each other, giving the home-field advantage to the first drawn teams on each match-up.

The round of 16 will be played between January 14 and 16. If Osasuna is drawn first against a Primer División team, El Sadar can host a cup match for the first time this season.

Copa del Rey Round of 16 probable opponents:

LaLiga EA Sports (Top tier): Real Madrid, F. C. Barcelona, Atlético de Madrid, Athletic Club, Real Sociedad, Real Betis, R. C. Celta, Valencia, Rayo Vallecano, Getafe and Leganés.

LaLiga Hypermotion (Second tier): Almería and Elche.

Primera Federación Versus E-Learning (Third tier): Ourense C. F.

Segunda Federación (Fourth tier): Pontevedra.
