Osasuna head coach Vicente Moreno addressed the media ahead of tomorrow's round of 32 Copa del Rey match against Tenerife at Heliodoro Rodríguez López stadium. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. CET (3:30 p.m. GMT/10:30 a.m. ET).

"We come into 2025 with the best mentality. Plus, we are playing in a tournament we love—and due to recent success, it is a well-liked tournament here at Osasuna. We have the responsibility to keep going; we still have a long way to go to match what was done two years ago, but to get there, we must keep punching our ticket, which is our goal. We are visiting a place that will make it hard for us. Their head coach is debuting, and every time a new coach comes in, it shakes things up. Everyone wants to show their talent, making it challenging for us. However, we have to focus on what we want: to move on under whatever circumstances and against any opponent," Moreno said.

Regarding the opponent, the Rojillo gaffer pointed out, "I know [head coach] Álvaro [Cervera] well, I know Tenerife, and I can assume what his game plan might be and what Tenerife will propose, but it can change, so I don't want to get ahead of myself. It will be a tough team. They are a team that is usually on their field – despite their current situation – they are always difficult, with top-quality players, and I believe you might have the same experiences as me; every time you play there, games are tough and without many chances to win in Tenerife."

He concluded his intervention by highlighting what he wants to see tomorrow: "Especially to see the result go in our favor. But as we seek the result, we need to maintain Osasuna's identity, which is doing everything that will make its supporters proud of the team."
