Osasuna and Kosner present the 'Seeds for the Future' initiative
The board of directors, first team and coaching staff attended the event at Saltoki Home
Club Atlético Osasuna, represented by its board of directors and first team, joined Kosner to present the 'Seeds for the Future' initiative at an event at the Saltoki Home headquarters. The initiative demonstrates both entities' efforts to benefit sustainability and the environment.
In addition to today's event, 11 trees were planted in the Tajonar facilities through this initiative. These oak trees will form part of the Futuro Tajonar's landscape, symbolizing the club and its main sponsor's commitment to a more sustainable and respectful future with the planet. The trees planted by 11 children and the first-team players will grow as part of the Futuro Tajonar project.
Luis Sabalza, president of Club Atlético Osasuna, said: "Actions like these are important to raise awareness about how we need care for the environment. Plus, nature is part of our essence. Navarre cannot be understood without the richness of its natural landscapes, from Bertiz to Las Bardenas. And we cannot understand Tajonar without the natural environment that surrounds it. Although the facilities are relatively close to the city, they are located between fields, which is a very healthy space for football. One of our goals for the Futuro Tajonar project is for the new facilities to be environmentally friendly, integrate harmoniously, and be sustainable."
For her part, Isabel Asenjo, from Saltoki's marketing team, explained: "There are only 11 trees. It's just a small plot in Tajonar. You might consider it a small gesture, but with this action, we wanted to demonstrate Kosner's commitment, and also that of Osasuna, to sustainability and care for the environment. Let these trees, which will remain forever in the new Tajonar facilities, serve as a memory and reminder of this commitment of Kosner and Osasuna to a more habitable world."
