Osasuna Promesas and Subiza announce roster moves ahead of the 2024-25 season

There will be 37 homegrown or Navarrese players between both sides playing in the Third and Fourth tier of Spanish Football

Pamplona (Tuesday, June 11, 2024) – In the 2024-25 season, Club Atlético Osasuna will have its affiliate teams competing in semiprofessional football for the first time in its history. Osasuna Promesas, led by head coach Santi Castillejo for the seventh season, will compete in Primera Federación (Third tier) for the third consecutive season. Meanwhile, Subiza will debut in Segunda Federacion with head coach César Monasterio at the helm. This will allow Osasuna to have 37 homegrown or Navarrese players in Spanish football's Third and Fourth tier.

Therefore, Osasuna Promesas will face the upcoming season with the following players: Pablo Valencia, Dimitrios Stamatakis, Jorge Moreno, Ibaider Garriz, Christian Mutilva, Asier Osambela, Xabi Huarte, Mauro Echegoyen, Jon García, Max Svensson, Nowend Lorenzo, Dani Sancho, Miguel Auría and Iñigo Arguibide. Carlos Lumbreras and Álex Jiménez will join the team from Subiza, and Anai Morales from the U-19 side.

Darío Ramos, Ander Dufur, Guillem Molina, Niko Michelis, Eneko Aguilar, David Rabadán, Rubén Azcona, Unai Buján and Jorge Agirre will not continue in the club's first reserve team as they were not renewed. Club Atlético Osasuna expresses gratitude for their commitment and contribution to a new permanence in Primera Federación.

On the other hand, although he has renewed his contract with Osasuna until 2026, Ander Yoldi will not continue in the Promesas as he considers his time in the affiliate team to be over.

Five U-19 players were promoted to Subiza

For Subiza, 16 players from the squad that won promotion will continue in the team next season: Ander Ibáñez, Rafa Fernández, Mikel Ansó, Víctor Ciaurriz, Unai Santos, Asier Benito, Lucas Ibáñez, Javier Amadoz, Pablo Aguinaga, Imanol Beloki, Ibai Arrasate, Ander Marticorena, Juan Asirón, Mariano Beunza, Julen Vicuña and Javier Ripa, the latter renewed after suffering a long-term injury.

Five players from the youth category have been added: Jon Arrasate, Asier Larrión, Bruno Pérez, Aimar Bonel and Asier Bonel. Javi Sola, who was part of the Promesas squad in the second round of the recently finished season, and Martín Pedroarena, who comes from Unión Deportiva Mutilvera, also join the team.

Other players from Club Atlético Osasuna's structure could join the preseason of both affiliates depending on the players' sporting needs and training processes.
