Pamplona (Monday, June 5, 2023) – Defender David García was assessed this morning at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra after having to be subbed off yesterday against Girona F.C. with an injury. In the second minute, the defender made a threatening gesture with his right knee. The MRI has confirmed that the player suffered a grade II injury in the internal lateral ligament of the right knee.

The club's Medical Services have informed the Spanish national football team of the injury, as García was expected to represent Spain in the Nations League Final Four.
